Application data

What every field of an application means, where it comes from, and what to watch out for when you map it to your systems. The exact types and limits are in the API reference; the general rules (values, null, unknown fields and enum values) are in conventions.md.

The data is what the client declared in the form and confirmed with a qualified electronic signature. Finto does not verify income or obligations; the signed application asks you to check the client in the registers yourself (signed-application.md).

The application

FieldMeaning
idFinto's id of the application. Opaque: store it, do not parse it
referenceHuman-readable number, random, for example P-7KQ2MX. Quote it when you call or write to Finto
versionYour view's version: starts at 1 and increases by one with every change you can see (corrected data, documents added for you). Your own uploads do not change it
versionNoteWhy the data last changed after signing. null while the data is as signed
state, closedReason, closedAtFinto's side of the lifecycle, see lifecycle.md
replacedByWith closedReason duplicate: the newer application of the same client, when it was also sent to you
channelWebsite where the client applied: finto (finto.lt) or autolizingas (autolizingas.lt)
submittedAtWhen the client signed
updatedAtWhen anything you can see last changed
expiresAtWhen Finto closes the application for you as expired if nothing ends it before
decisionYour current decision (id, status, receivedAt), null before the first
selectionWhile the client's choice of your offer stands: which decision and when

request: what the client asks for

FieldMeaning
productcash_loan, car_loan, car_lease or refinancing
amountAmount to finance, EUR. For car products this is without the down payment: price 17 000, down payment 2 500 means amount 14 500. For refinancing, the amount the client wants to refinance
termMonthsRequested term. null when the form did not ask (the finto.lt loan form often does not): offer the term you find suitable
downPaymentDown payment the client offers, car products only

The application carries no data about the car itself: you assess the financing, not the vehicle.

Refinancing

The form asks for the total amount only; it does not list the obligations to refinance. Use the credit registers, as the signed application asks you to, and if you need the list from the client (creditors, balances, account to pay into), ask with info_required (other).

applicant: the client

FieldMeaning
firstName, lastNameAs in the signed application. Letters, spaces, hyphens, apostrophes and periods only
personalCodeLithuanian personal code, 11 digits, valid checksum. Equal to the personal code in the signing certificate
dateOfBirthDerived from the personal code; null for the rare codes issued without a birth date
phoneE.164, for example +37061234567
emailAs typed by the client
addressFree text, usually null: most forms do not ask. Use the population register
maritalStatusUsually null: the form only asks whether the client has a spouse (see spouse). Set when Finto staff asked
idDocumentTypeUsually null; set when Finto staff asked

incomes

One entry per source, at least one, each type at most once.

FieldMeaning
typeemployment (permanent employment), statutory_officer (police, military, customs and similar), employment_abroad, self_employment (individual activity, business certificate), other
monthlyNetAverage net income per month, EUR, as declared
tenureHow long the income has been received, as a range: minMonths inclusive, maxMonths exclusive or null for no upper bound. null when not asked

The form asks one tenure question per income type, with a threshold that depends on the type: 4 months for employment and statutory service, 6 months for employment abroad, 12 months for self-employment and other income. So a tenure is always either "at least the threshold" ({ "minMonths": 4, "maxMonths": null }) or "less than the threshold" ({ "minMonths": 0, "maxMonths": 4 }), exactly as printed in the signed PDF.

obligations

FieldMeaning
hasObligationsWhether the client declared existing financial obligations
monthlyPaymentsTotal monthly payments under existing loans, leasing, credit cards and similar, EUR; 0 when none

The client declares a total only. Check the details in the credit registers.

monthlyExpenses

Monthly living expenses the client declared besides the obligations, EUR. Often null: most forms do not ask.

pep: politically exposed person

FieldMeaning
isPepWhether the client is a PEP, an immediate family member or a close associate of one. When false, every other field is null
relationself, family_member or close_associate
categoryCategory of the public function, following the list of the Lithuanian Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (values in the reference)
position, institution, countryFree text as given by the client
fullNameName of the PEP, when the client is not the PEP

beneficialOwner

FieldMeaning
forOwnBenefitWhether the client takes the financing in their own name and for their own benefit. When true, every other field is null
fullName, personalCode, relationThe person the financing is for, as given by the client. The personal code is not validated

spouse

FieldMeaning
participationno_spouse; not_participating (has a spouse who does not take part); joint (applies together with the spouse)
incomesSpouse's incomes, joint only, as in the signed application
firstName, lastName, personalCode, emailnull until you ask for them with info_required (spouse_data) and Finto collects them

The spouse does not sign the application, so the form collects no more than the participation and, for a joint application, the incomes.

creditors: the creditor table

The lenders the client asks Finto to send the application to, each with its legal name and company code, exactly as printed in the signed PDF. Your row has isYou: true. The table is fixed by the signature; see signed-application.md.

signature

FieldMeaning
documentIdThe signed PDF in documents
templateVersionVersion of the application text the client signed
signedAtWhen the client signed
leveleIDAS level reported by the signing service: always qes in v1
signerName, signerPersonalCodeFrom the signing certificate, not from the form

documents

FieldMeaning
idUse it to download the file
typesigned_application; documents the client provided for you (income_statement, bank_statement, employment_contract, id_document, vehicle_document, a signed consent_form, other); or your own uploads (consent_form, secci, offer, contract_draft, other)
title, fileName, contentType, sizeBytesAs stored
sha256Lowercase hex SHA-256 of the file. Compare it with what you download
uploadedByclient, finto or lender (you)

You see the signed application, the documents provided for you (because you asked for them), and your own uploads; never the documents provided for another lender. Files from clients are checked for type and size, not for malware: handle them as untrusted input.

What Finto does not send

On purpose:

  • Finto's own credit bureau results and pre-assessment: Finto obtained them for its own purpose; the client asks you to check the registers yourself.
  • Finto staff notes, call recordings, marketing consents and advertising data.
  • Anything about other lenders beyond the creditor table the client signed: their decisions, offers, documents, or which one the client chose.

Decisions you send

The fields of a decision are described in the API reference (DecisionCreate, OfferInput, RequirementInput, ContractInfoInput, DisbursementInput, TerminationInput). What matters when you map them:

previousDecisionIdOptional safety check, see conventions.md

offer.monthlyPaymentThe regular payment, including any monthly fee

offer.validUntilLast valid day, Vilnius time; not in the past, at most 180 days ahead
offer.conditionsShown to the client: plain Lithuanian, no links
offer.continueUrlYour https page where the client continues after choosing you. Its host must be registered with Finto (continueUrlHosts in GET /v1/me): no other port, no user name, no IP address
offer.documentIdsYour own uploads on this application that belong to the offer, for example the SECCI form
requirements[].descriptionShown to the client: plain Lithuanian, no links
rejectionReason, messageFor Finto staff only; never shown to the client

termination.endedOnDay the agreement ended, Vilnius time; not in the future
termination.reasonearly_repayment, terminated_by_client, terminated_by_lender or other. No reasons for your own termination and no amounts: Finto does not need them

Pre-contractual information (SECCI)

Giving the client the pre-contractual information on a durable medium before they are bound remains your obligation as the creditor. Uploading the SECCI form with your offer is optional but recommended: Finto then passes it to the client together with the offer, unchanged.
